Newsletter Premium: core 9.4.7 and Automated 4.9.8 are different components

Newsletter manages subscribers and email campaigns inside WordPress. The GPLHub collection called Newsletter Premium contains the free Newsletter 9.4.7 core and separate extension ZIPs. We tested that core with the premium Automated 4.9.8 add-on. The first download below is clearly labelled Newsletter Core; premium extensions are in the separate All Addons archive.

Our question was whether a weekly workshop digest selects the intended audience and the intended posts. We checked subscriber status, list membership, category filtering, a one-post limit and the weekly day predicate. The demonstration channel stayed disabled, so no newsletter was generated or delivered to a real inbox.

Newsletter Automated shows the disabled Workshop digest channel and its selected subscriber list
Original premium add-on interface. Delivery remains disabled; the configuration is a test record, not a running campaign.

Install the core and then only the Automated extension for this exercise. Complete its native database setup before persisting a channel. Create the two list labels in the administration panel if you want the same display names; the targeting checks use their numeric IDs. Add only synthetic addresses and keep the channel disabled throughout the test.

Our developer fixture calls the add-on’s actual audience-query generator, post selector and scheduled-day function. Those checks are supported by the installed administration screens. The saved classic channel was also reloaded and its selected post was compared with the expected fixture record, rather than assuming that temporary PHP options had been saved correctly.

Confirmed is necessary, but the selected list also matters

Audience selected for List 1
Subscriber stateIncluded
Confirmed, belongs to List 1Yes
Pending confirmation, belongs to List 1No
Unsubscribed, belongs to List 1No
Confirmed, belongs only to List 2No

Only one of the four test records matched the channel’s generated recipient query. The pending and unsubscribed addresses were excluded despite belonging to the selected list. The other confirmed address was excluded because it belonged to a different list. This checks two separate filters, rather than treating every saved address as an eligible recipient.

The installed Newsletter subscriber screen shows confirmed, pending and unsubscribed synthetic records
Original subscriber administration screen. A separate lab test address may also appear; it has no List 1 membership and is not part of the four-record targeting matrix.

Moving the confirmed List 1 subscriber to List 2 reduced the native target count to zero. We restored its original list for the demonstration. A lookup using an uppercase version of the same email returned the existing subscriber ID. These observations concern native lookup and list updates, not a broad test of CSV import merge rules or every subscription endpoint.

The saved digest selected one published post in the right category

The fixture contained two published workshop posts, a draft in that category and a published post outside it. With the workshop category and maximum 1 configured, the Automated selector returned the newer workshop post. The draft and other-category post did not displace it. We checked the same selection again after saving and reloading the paused channel.

Automated New Posts lists only Workshop digest: newest lesson
Actual saved-channel result. The newer workshop post is selected while the other-category post and draft are absent.

This is a test of the classic channel’s native selection path in Automated 4.9.8. The installed UI also offers a newer composer channel and calls the classic theme flow obsolete. We did not test that newer visual composer or its dynamic blocks, so the result should not be read as an end-to-end validation of every Automated template path.

For planning, the native date check accepted Monday 19 October 2026 and rejected Tuesday 20 October 2026 for our Monday-only weekly options. That proves the day predicate for those inputs. It does not prove that WordPress cron woke at the intended time, generated a message or delivered it. Those steps were intentionally not run.

What is free, what is in the bundle, and what remains untested

The main package header declares Newsletter 9.4.7, WordPress 6.1 or newer and PHP 7.0 or newer. Our actual runtime was WordPress 7.1.3/PHP 8.4.26. Those header requirements are distinct from the versions we tested and do not establish the requirements of every optional extension.

The companion contains 49 selected extension archives from this dated source listing, including Automated 4.9.8. Some extensions in a broad collection may be free integrations; the count is not a claim that 49 separately paid products were tested. Extract the outer archive and use its inventory to choose the components required for your own workflow.

We did not test provider accounts, SMTP delivery, inbox placement, bounce processing, authentication records, CSV imports, visual-composer output or campaign throughput. A correct recipient query cannot establish deliverability. Connect a provider in its own test mode and exercise the entire consent, unsubscribe and delivery path before treating an automation as production-ready.

This approach suits a WordPress publication that wants its own posts and subscriber lists to drive a digest. If the requirement is primarily hosted marketing automation with external customer data, compare those account and delivery requirements separately. We performed no comparative sending or scale benchmark.

Newsletter Premium Free Download and Nulled FAQ

“Nulled” usually describes software whose activation or licence checks have been removed or altered; the word alone does not determine whether a particular use is lawful. GPL-covered code can be studied, modified and redistributed subject to its licence conditions, but this does not grant access to a developer’s account, hosted services, updates or support. We discuss the term here to answer a common search question; the download details separately identify the package source and tested version. Any plugin or theme obtained through an unverified third party can contain unwanted changes or malicious code, whether or not it is labelled “nulled”. Before installing it, you can ask ChatGPT or Claude Code to inspect the extracted source for suspicious behaviour without executing it or sharing credentials. Treat that review as an additional check: AI can miss harmful code or flag harmless code, and a clean result is not a security guarantee.

Why is the first button called Newsletter Core? That is what its installed header identifies. The source collection’s Premium label does not turn the core ZIP into a single combined premium plugin. Automated and the other extensions are separate archives.

Was a real campaign sent? No. The channel remained disabled. The results cover selectors, stored configuration and the weekly date predicate, with original screenshots of the paused setup.

Does the ZIP supply a delivery-service account or official support? No such entitlement was established. Separate services and vendor accounts retain their own requirements.

Are all premium features covered? No. Only the named core and Automated functions were exercised. The package record is dated 17 October 2026 and is not a claim that these are the latest vendor releases.
